A Pair of Snakes Red Envelope Gift Set

Design Concept

Inspired by a pair of snakes, the design transforms this symbolic imagery into male and female character forms, representing emotional connection, mutual protection, and the continuation of New Year blessings. With clean, refined contours and an unfoldable structure, the envelope expands into an elongated snake silhouette, turning a flat piece of packaging into a dynamic visual object.

Beyond holding monetary gifts, the design incorporates the function of a greeting card, allowing the envelope to be preserved and displayed even after the gifting moment. In this way, festive sentiments and design value continue to resonate beyond the New Year.

Craft & Materials

Fine-textured paper is selected as the base material. Single-color black printing is used to define the snakes’ expressions and flowing linework, creating a restrained yet expressive visual tone. A single-color foil stamping process is applied as a subtle accent, allowing portions of the snake’s body to catch light with a refined metallic sheen.
