Busy Monkey Week Red Envelope Set
Design Concept
The design draws inspiration from a familiar childhood nursery rhyme:
“On Monday, the monkey wears new clothes;
On Tuesday, the monkey feels hungry;
On Wednesday, the monkey goes hiking;
On Thursday, the monkey takes an exam;
On Friday, the monkey goes dancing…”
Each day of the week is transformed into a distinct monkey character, resulting in five uniquely styled red envelopes—each telling its own story. Every monkey represents a different rhythm of life and personality, allowing the giver to select a design that best reflects the recipient’s character and the sentiment they wish to convey. In this way, the red envelope becomes more than festive packaging for monetary gifts; it turns into a heartfelt medium of storytelling and personal connection.
When all five monkeys come together, they form a lively and complete week filled with movement and energy, symbolizing togetherness, companionship, and the flow of everyday life. The collection balances playfulness, narrative charm, and collectibility, transforming traditional red envelopes into a cohesive and meaningful design series.
Craft & Materials
The red envelopes are crafted using textured fine paper, with imagery and details rendered through single-color gold hot stamping. Embossing is applied to enhance the monkey characters and typography, creating subtle dimensionality that emerges through light and shadow.
The backing board is made from heavyweight 360g textured paper, finished with dual-color hot stamping in gold and black to present the main visual and typography. This structure provides both storage and display functionality, elevating the set with a sense of completeness and festive ceremony, allowing the red envelopes to extend beyond packaging into collectible display pieces.

Weekend Monkey Holiday Red Envelope
Design Concept
Extending the childhood tongue-twister theme from the Busy Weekday Monkey series, this edition centers on the idea of “going on holiday,” capturing moments of relaxation beyond everyday busyness and imagining the monkey’s carefree and playful weekend life. Through the humorous lines, “Saturday, I take the monkey out for a stroll; Sunday, it’s the monkey’s lucky fortune day,” the design blends childhood nostalgia with festive blessings, infusing traditional red envelopes with storytelling and interactive charm.
Gold serves as the primary visual tone, symbolizing wealth, harvest, and the preciousness of a golden holiday while echoing the New Year’s wishes for prosperity and good fortune. The small monkey peeking from the top of the envelope appears ready to embark on its holiday journey, adding a lively narrative touch. The red envelope thus becomes more than a single-use festive item—it transforms into a collectible and shareable design piece filled with character.
In addition, Busy Weekday Monkey and Weekend Monkey Holiday can be paired and displayed together, forming a complete “Weekday Monkey” story series that enhances the sense of collectibility and playful arrangement.
Craft & Materials
Made with double-sided metallic specialty paper, the envelope reveals a soft metallic sheen under light, creating a refined and festive texture. Gold foil stamping is applied to the typography to emphasize themes of celebration and prosperity while complementing the overall golden palette. Selective embossing further enhances the monkey illustration and lettering, allowing subtle dimensional details to emerge through light and shadow.

Jungle Monkey Red Envelope
Design Concept
Inspired by the agile and lively nature of monkeys moving through the jungle, this red envelope design transforms layers of tropical foliage into the primary visual and structural language. The overall composition resembles a miniature three-dimensional jungle, where a playful monkey hides among the leaves and peeks through the gaps, creating an engaging and interactive visual experience.
To open the envelope, the recipient gently parts the interlocking leaves, as if searching for a hidden monkey and treasure within the forest. As each layer unfolds, the monkey and the enclosed gift gradually appear, enhancing the sense of surprise and ritual in opening the red envelope. A writing space is thoughtfully placed on the inner layer, allowing warm wishes to be revealed as soon as the first layer is opened, turning the envelope into both a gift and a heartfelt message.
Craft & Materials
Imported red cardstock is selected as the primary material. Single-color black printing is used to illustrate the delicate leaf textures, while debossing techniques enhance the veins and graphic details, creating subtle depth and shadow across the surface. Key outlines and decorative borders are finished with gold hot stamping, adding a refined festive touch and elevating the overall texture.
Multiple layers of foliage are constructed with an interlocking tab structure, enabling a tactile opening motion that creates an interactive and playful experience.

Inspired by the everyday act of peeling a banana, this red envelope reimagines the traditional gifting experience through a playful and interactive form. The overall design combines the imagery of a banana with a mischievous monkey character, featuring a tear-open banana peel structure that symbolizes the moment of revealing fortune and harvest. As the envelope opens like a peeled banana, the banknotes inside are unveiled, conveying the auspicious meaning of “peel to reveal prosperity.”
Through humorous and charming visual language, the design reinterprets traditional Lunar New Year blessings, infusing the festive season with a sense of lightness, joy, and everyday delight.

Textured fine paper is selected as the primary material, offering a delicate surface grain that delivers a warm and refined tactile quality. The tail symbolizes a monkey’s natural movement of climbing and swinging, conveying a sense of liveliness, cleverness, and the arrival of good fortune—echoing the playful idea of “hooking wherever you go.”
After receiving it, the envelope can be hung on bags, walls, or within everyday spaces, turning it into a wearable ornament or festive decoration. This allows the blessing to be preserved and extended beyond the festive moment, enabling the traditional red envelope to continue accompanying daily life while adding warmth and humor to everyday scenes.

Golden Banana Monkey Spring Couplet Red Envelope Set
Design Concept
This design blends the traditional square spring couplet (doufang) with the festive imagery of firecrackers, transforming a square red envelope into a decorative hanging piece for the Lunar New Year. Presented in the form of a classic spring couplet, the envelope not only holds gift money but also contains three strings of banana-shaped ornaments (six bananas in total). When unfolded, they resemble celebratory firecrackers, symbolizing the arrival of blessings, prosperity, and continuous good fortune.
The connecting red cord is specially designed to measure 66 cm in length, linking six bananas on both the front and back, echoing the auspicious meaning of “double sixes bring smooth success.” This conveys wishes for a prosperous and harmonious new year. Combining the functions of a red envelope and festive home décor, the piece can be displayed as a spring couplet on doors or hung within interior spaces, allowing seasonal blessings to become part of everyday life while adding a playful and joyful New Year atmosphere.

The red envelope is produced using textured fine paper, finished with dual-color hot stamping in gold and black to highlight visual details and festive shine. A 4 mm stopper bead and red cotton cord connect the banana ornaments, enabling stable hanging and decorative functionality.
