Festive Door Hanging
Design Concept
This design reinterprets the traditional flat Spring Festival couplets by transforming them into a hanging door decoration. Through hollow-cut patterns and clean, contemporary typography, the piece presents a festive yet modern aesthetic suitable for home interiors.
The content draws from the auspicious phrase “Flowers Blooming Bring Prosperity, Bamboo Heralds Peace.” The characters are arranged in a vertical sequence, forming a cascading hanging structure that conveys layers of blessings. Symbolizing prosperity, peace, and good fortune, the design welcomes the new year with elegance.
The overall composition features a vibrant red base accented with black details, creating a refined festive atmosphere with a modern touch.
Craft & Materials
Textured silk-pattern paper is selected as the primary material. The characters and decorative elements are created through hollow cutting, allowing light and shadow to form subtle visual layers.
The upper structure is enhanced with black hot stamping to strengthen the visual focus. Red cotton cords connect each blessing element, forming a continuous vertical decoration, while black-and-gold metal clasps secure the connections and add a subtle sense of sophistication. The result balances festive warmth with modern home aesthetics.

Grand Festive Door Hanging
Design Concept
Inspired by the Lunar New Year tradition of welcoming fortune at the doorway, this design reinterprets the traditional Spring Festival couplets into a hanging door decoration. The visual concept draws from Su Dongpo’s poem Shui Long Yin, which describes the elegance of koi fish, integrating the koi—symbolizing prosperity, happiness, and good fortune—into the main visual motif.
Circular elements connect the auspicious characters, accompanied by the flowing silhouette of swimming koi, creating a sense of movement and festive atmosphere through light and shadow.
The layered hanging circles echo the cultural memory of lanterns and festive decorations, forming a light and rhythmic spatial ornament. Its enlarged scale allows the piece to be displayed not only at residential entrances but also at commercial spaces, bringing the spirit of welcoming fortune into everyday
Craft & Materials
The main structure is made from textured paper, with patterns created through precision cutting to form hollow structures that produce layered light and shadow effects.
The surface is finished with three hot-foil colors, creating subtle reflections from different angles, reminiscent of the shimmering scales of koi fish.
The circular elements are connected with red cotton cords and black-and-gold metal rings, providing both structural stability and a sense of lightness when the piece hangs and moves in space.

Firecracker Hanging – Heralding Blessings
Design Concept
“Heralding Blessings” serves as the core concept of this design, symbolizing hopes and well-wishes for the coming year. Inspired by traditional Lunar New Year firecrackers, the vibrant red string of firecrackers has long been believed to ward off evil spirits and dispel misfortune, welcoming a fresh start and renewed energy.
This project transforms the traditional firecracker form into a three-dimensional hanging ornament. Through folded paper structures and geometric forms, the festive symbol is reinterpreted with a clean and contemporary aesthetic. The hexagonal main body combined with a cascading firecracker structure creates a vivid red decorative piece that gently accents interior spaces, bringing festive warmth and a celebratory atmosphere into the home.
Craft & Materials
The piece is constructed using synthetic paper, providing excellent rigidity and durability, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor display. The surface features UV printing with spot colors to create detailed firecracker patterns, while the main text is finished with single-color hot foil stamping to present the blessing in gold.
The hanging firecracker structure is formed through folded paper techniques and three-dimensional assembly, creating layered cascading elements. It is paired with an elastic hook cord for easy hanging, allowing the piece to be conveniently installed on doors or walls, seamlessly integrating festive decoration and symbolic blessings into everyday living spaces.

Spring Blessings / Prosperity Firecracker Ornament
Design Concept
Inspired by traditional Lunar New Year firecrackers—symbols of warding off misfortune and welcoming good fortune—this design transforms the festive element into a decorative object for contemporary living spaces. Instead of the typical cylindrical form, the piece adopts a faceted geometric structure, creating a clean and modern silhouette.
The red body represents celebration and blessings, while the black and gold typography conveys three auspicious messages: Welcoming Spring, Receiving Blessings, and Gathering Prosperity. The rope detail references the traditional firecracker fuse, preserving a sense of festive memory. The object can also be opened to store small items, functioning both as a decorative ornament and a practical storage piece for everyday spaces.
Craft & Materials
The structure is constructed from synthetic paper, assembled through precise folding and joining techniques to form a stable geometric body. The material provides both durability and a smooth color finish.
Corrugated paper is used internally for structural support, while the top and bottom are wrapped with 480g black cardstock to create a clean visual frame. The typography is printed with spot color inks in black and gold, adding subtle contrast and enhancing the festive character of the piece.

Spring Blessing Pen Holder
Design Concept
Continuing the festive concept of the earlier Spring Blessing Firecracker Ornament, this design transforms the symbolic firecracker—traditionally associated with welcoming spring, attracting fortune, and warding off negative energy—into a functional desktop pen holder suitable for everyday use.
The structure adopts a multi-faceted geometric form, using clean folds and balanced proportions to create a sculptural object that resembles a miniature festive ornament placed on the desk.
The front features the auspicious phrases “Welcoming Spring” and “Receiving Blessings” as the main visual elements. Black and gold typography layered over the red structure symbolizes prosperity, celebration, and good fortune for the new year. While retaining traditional cultural symbolism, the form is reinterpreted with a contemporary design language, allowing festive spirit to naturally integrate into study desks or office spaces as a subtle yet vibrant accent in everyday life.
Craft & Materials
The main structure is constructed from red cardstock, forming a crisp and stable geometric body with a vivid festive tone. The interior and base are reinforced with heavyweight black cardstock, enhancing durability while adding structural stability and visual depth.
The auspicious characters are produced using dual-color hot foil stamping, giving the typography a refined metallic sheen. Traditional wave motifs on the sides are printed in single-color black ink, subtly referencing classical Eastern decorative patterns while maintaining a clean and elegant overall appearance.

Mini Hanging Ornament Series
Design Concept
The design was inspired by observations of everyday life. Toward the end of each year, people often decorate their homes with Christmas ornaments to create a festive atmosphere. This led us to consider whether a similar set of decorative objects could be designed for Lunar New Year—something rooted in Eastern traditions yet suitable for contemporary living spaces.
Based on this idea, the Mini Hanging Ornament Series was developed, featuring a variety of forms such as lanterns symbolizing celebration, firecracker strings inspired by traditional Chinese motifs, and zodiac figures representing auspicious meanings. Through three-dimensional structures and a refined red-and-black color palette, traditional festive elements are reinterpreted as modern spatial decorations. The ornaments can be freely hung on plants, shelves, or corners of the home, adding a light and elegant touch of Lunar New Year atmosphere to everyday spaces.
Craft & Materials
The ornaments are primarily made from textured paper, whose subtle surface grain provides a warm tactile quality while maintaining enough rigidity to support the three-dimensional forms. Decorative motifs are enhanced through single-color hot foil stamping, giving the lines a delicate sheen as light shifts across the surface.
Each ornament is constructed through folded paper structures and assembled forms, transforming flat paper into lightweight three-dimensional decorations. Paired with red cotton cords for hanging, the pieces can easily be suspended on plants, walls, or shelving, creating rhythmic festive accents throughout the space.

Good Times Placemat
Design Concept
The design is inspired by the passage of time. At the center of the graphic, dots and radiating lines expand outward, resembling the traces of time unfolding—much like the rhythm of a gathering gradually coming to life.
Dining is not merely a daily routine, but a moment of connection. Whether it is enjoying a quiet meal alone, sharing a conversation with someone across the table, or gathering with a group of friends, every moment spent sitting down to eat becomes a piece of “good time” in life.
The placemat is designed as a visual focal point on the table. Featuring a double-sided layout, it allows both left- and right-handed users to choose the most comfortable orientation. This flexible design enhances usability while adding a subtle sense of interaction and rhythm to everyday dining.
Craft & Materials
The placemat is made from eco-friendly white PP material, offering durability, water resistance, and easy cleaning for everyday use. The surface features three spot colors printed on both sides, creating vibrant and saturated color layers that bring warmth and brightness to the dining table.
A red hot-foil stamping detail adds a subtle metallic sheen under light, enhancing the visual rhythm and texture of the design. This combination of practicality and refined finishing allows the placemat to function not only as a dining accessory but also as a small visual installation on the table.
